You Are Invited To An Evening Of Waltzing (And More)

The Central Illinois English Country Dancers, the Dancing Illini and the
Urbana Country Dancers will be holding an evening of waltzing at the
Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W. Stoughton, Urbana. The evening will
feature waltzing to live music, but will also include other couple
dances, such as the polka, as well as set dances in waltz time. There
will be a waltz workshop prior to the dance itself. The set dances will
be taught and then prompted so no previous knowledge or experience is
required. Bring snacks to share at the break. Partners and costumes
are not required, but we ask that dancers wear soft-soled shoes to
help protect the dance floor.
Evening Program: Waltzes and other dances to live music
Waltz Workshop: 7:00 p.m.
Waltz Party: 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.
