Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,
This summer the Dancing Illini is offering beginners our most popular
courses - Waltz/Swing and Salsa/Cha-Cha. If you have some prior dance
experience, the accelerated courses in Hustle and West Coast Swing will
rapidly get you up to speed in these exciting nightclub dances.
Everything is FREE the first week so come on out June 21 & 23 to the
air-conditioned Krannert Center Opera Rehearsal Room (go down to level 2
and follow the signs) and give it a try! No partner required!

Where: Krannert Opera Rehearsal Room
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays
How long: 6 weeks
Beginning: Tuesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 23
Ending: Tuesday, July 26 and Thursday, July 28
Classes:
Beginner Waltz & Swing
Tuesdays 6:45-8:15pm taught by Mike Lockwood
NO experience needed, BEGINNERS WELCOME!
Accelerated Hustle
Tuesdays 8:30-9:45pm taught by Paul Jones
For those with some partner dance experience but new to Hustle.
Accelerated West Coast Swing
Thursdays 6:45-8:00pm taught by Jim Phillips & Tanja Hodges
For those with some partner dance experience but new to WCS.
Beginner Salsa & Cha-Cha
Thursdays 8:30-10:00pm by Ron Carbonari & Janice Mouschovias
NO experience needed, BEGINNERS WELCOME!
Pricing:
There is no need to pre-register. We invite you to try a course for FREE
during the first week. Your $30 membership (or $35 registration if
non-UIUC) entitles you to one course. Join by the end of the first week of
classes. Prices are per person; there is no couples discount.
Please be prepared to pay by the start of the second class.
