    Dancers,

Don't forget that this Sunday, November 3rd the Dancing
Illini will be holding a Samba / Tango workshop taught by
Andrew and Michelle Tate. It will be held in the Brookens
    Gym. The schedule is:

2:30 - 3:25 pm: International Style Tango workshop
    3:25 - 3:35 pm: Break
3:35 - 4:30 pm: International Style Samba workshop

The workshops will cover technique in both dances.
Experience with some of the basic steps in International
    Tango and Samba is required.

There is no cost to current Dancing Illini members (those
who are currently taking classes or those who have paid this
semester's membership dues). Non-members (who are
affiliated with the U of I - students, faculty, staff) may
become members and attend the workshop for $10, and others
(non-UIUC) may be come registered participants and attend
    for $15.

The Brookens Gym is at 1776 E. Washington in Urbana.
Washington Street begins at Busey Street, which is one block
east of Lincoln. Washington is one block north of Iowa
Street and one block south of Nevada Street at this point,
and it continues to the east. The Brookens Gym is
approximately 1.5 miles east of Lincoln, near the
intersections of Washington Street and Lanore Drive or
Country Squire Drive. The Gym is located in the north part
of the County Administration (Brookens) Building.

Preregistration is not necessary, so just show up and have
fun! Andrew and Michelle started dancing and met each
other through the Dancing Illini. They recently placed
4th in the 10-dance competition at Nationals. If you
haven't ever seen them dance, you can't miss this workshop!

    Hope to see you there.
