    Hello,

So you attended the Viennese Waltz workshop back in April.
The instruction was excellent, and soon you were whirling
around the floor. Then the workshop was over and you have
since forgotten everything. Well don't despair - the
    Dancing Illini feel your pain.

That's why in our first workshop of the summer Bruce Leasure

will again teach you the principles of the Viennese Waltz!
It will take place on Monday July 15th from 9:15-10:30 pm at

the Regent Ballroom in Savoy. This is a great opportunity
to learn a dance that is not taught very often. Also, this
    time
we will use the entire Regent dancefloor instead of half.

Experience with standard dances (preferably waltz) is
required. (At a minimum, one should have experience with
the dance position used for Waltz, Foxtrot or Quickstep and
ideally should have experience with at least one of these
    dances.)

The Viennese Waltz is a fast moving, dynamic dance with
plenty of turning. For those who wish to see it, some video

clips of various steps are available at

      http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Dances/Viennese/Default.htm

This event is FREE for Dancing Illini members and registered

participants (anyone currently taking a class).
Others may attend for $10. No pre-registration is required.

We hope to see you there.
