Does anybody have Enio's original post on this?

A couple of weeks back, Enio posted the suggestion that the Macarena is a latin version of the Hokey Pokey. It seems as logical as any of the more serious origin stories I've heard.
But this morning, I read a newspaper story in which a fitness expert says the Macarena is a good way to get up and moving, an avenue to physical fitness.
In light of that, my husband says the Macarena is actually Tai Chi on fast forward.
