Milonga has a clear rhythm for dancing and with practice most dancers will
master their connection with this rhythm to create a lively, fun dance.
    However,
the next level of dancing milonga is to play with the space between the
beats, to do double time steps, i.e., milonga traspie.

This Saturday Sept 13, our expert visiting instructors from Chicago, Fred &
Yermen Romero, will introduce and expand your knowledge of this wonderfully
    playful milonga traspie.

    The schedule is as follows:

    5:00 - 6:30 PM - Milonga Traspie 1
    - Definition, musicality, technique, and basic patterns of Milonga Traspie.

    6:45 - 8:15 PM - Milonga Traspie 2
    - Advanced patterns, including improvisation.

    Cost: $20 ($15 for students) for 1 workshop, $35 ($25 for students) for 2

Location: Phillips Recreation Center - 505 W Stougton, Urbana

We still have 1 (possibly 2) private lesson slots available Saturday
afternoon immediately before the workshops (3-5 PM) at $60/hr. If you are
    interested,
please respond to this e-mail. If you haven't had one before, you need to
    know
that a private lesson with Fred & Yermen has been described as divine
    intervention for your tango development.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

    Ron & Susana
