A celebration of music and culture and oh yeah-- lots of fun! My mommy along
with the Caribbean Latino Student Association will be cooking DELICIOUS food
including white rice, avichuelas (beans), yummy chicken, tostones (plantains),
a delicious dessert and last but not least: PINA COLADAS (non-alcoholic,
ofcourse). We will have salsa, merengue, bachata and other music to dance to
and pretend to dance to(lol). PLUS I will be showing In the Time of the
Butterflies for those of you who'd rather lay back, eat, and watch tv. All
this for just 2 dollars! And all proceeds go to Relay for Life which is the
biggest fundraiser for cancer research and treatment. SO COME ONE, COME ALL!!!
It will be a BLAST! If you are interested in buying tickets, I will be selling
them tomorrow during dinner and late night as well as on the weekend. If you
want to come, please reply to this e-mail or drop by my room 240 Snyder Hall
or call me at 332-1698 and let me know you want a ticket. Don't hesitate to
call--tickets are going fast and I want to see ALL of you there on monday, no
excuses!!!
