As part of a continuing series of summer tango activities:
There will be a milonga at the Phillips Recreation Center (Springfield &
McCullough, Urbana) on Saturday July 27 from 9 PM - 12:30 AM. Admission is
$3.
Prior to the milonga, starting at 7:30 PM, Susana and I will be giving a
workshop on 'Basics of Tango Technique - 3: Paradas and other pauses' . The
cost is $5 and includes admission to the milonga.
This is the 3rd in a 3 part series of workshops on tango technique prior to
the summer milongas at the Phillips Center. You need NOT have attended the
other workshops to benefit from this one. This workshop is open to advanced
beginner and higher levels of tango expertise. It is assumed students
attending the workshop are competent in forward and backward ochos and in
progressing to the cruzada.
