Argentine tango has finally made it to the Krannert Center for the Performing
Arts!! On Sunday October 21st, there will be a special, limited one-time only
tango performance of seasoned veteran tango performers from Tango Argentino.
For those of you who are not familiar with this dance troupe, there will
probably be familiar faces that you've seen on photographs or flyers of
tango events. With such nicknames as El Puma, El Leon, etc., you will be
treated to the best Argentine tango performers on stage in Champaign-Urbana.

For information on Tango Argentino: an RSO at the University of Illinois,
i.e., the organization that not only brings you tango performances at the
Courtyard Cafe, but also an excellent lineup of classes and practicas.

The performers: You will be seeing Joe & Carlota, Yannis and Rita, Manuel &
Aisha, Emre & Rajani, Kuru & Katarina, Melih & Anita, Erwin & Janice, and Ron
    & Susana.

The performances: Tango, Milonga, Vals, D'arienzo, Pugliese, Troilo,
Piazzolla, and more - a great diversity of tango styles and music.
