4.4 Raster3D Caveats

Nearly all of the header information is ignored (most notably, the viewing matrix).

VMD can read and display all the shapes in the format except the ends of the cylinders. (This was deliberately omitted since Raster3D uses many cylinders with spherical ends, which makes the resultant image very slow.)

Since VMD uses a palette of 16 colors, each triplet is converted into its ``nearest'' indexed color. This may cause images to be colored slightly differently than expected.
