Hi Mohammad,
Not sure if it will be an exact solution to your problem, but sometimes
when VMD installation is not done correctly will cause this issue too!
I am saying this because I use VMD in both Windows and Linux; but when I
try to generate psf file in Linux, it gives the same error what you have
mentioned. But if I try the same thing in the VMD installed on windows, it
works fine!
So I am assuming it could be an installation problem in my Linux.
Try to do the same thing you are doing on VMD installed on another PC once,
see if it helps.
