Microtubule Simulation

Hello all,

I am trying to simulate a microtubule of arbitrary length. They are
composed of alpha and beta tubulin, and I have found the PDB identifier
4U3J (https://www.rcsb.org/structure/4u3j), which contains alpha/beta
tubulin and the end binding protein. Has anyone tried to simulate a
microtubule? From what I can tell, it would be shifting and rotating copies
of this 4U3J complex and attaching them together into a tube.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Alex
