Problem with namd2 execution on Windows GPU version

I tried to perform an MD calculation of a protein complex with the
Windows GPU version 2.12 of NAMD on a Dell i7/8 GB memory/64-bit laptop.
The model of the GPU card is: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M.
Unfortunately, a couple of seconds after namd2 execution, the program
suddenly stops and the whole computer permanently freezes (also when
+idlepoll is included in the command line). However, the same conf file
runs fine with the CPU version. Do you have any idea about what might
have gone wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
