hi everybody,
we still have a few open seats for the GPU programming workshop at the
Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Trieste.
The activity is a two week intensive tutorial and workshop on
Accelerated High-Performance Computing in Computational Sciences with
lots of hands-on time and opportunities to receive consulting from the
organizers (John Stone, Ivan Girotto, Axel Kohlmeyer) and several
other experienced GPU programmers that serve as tutors.
while ICTP's primary mission is to support scientists from developing
countries, our workshops are also open to participants from developed
countries. participation, if accepted, is cost free. since we have
exhausted the budget for travel support, we can only accept
participants that can finance travel and accommodation on their own.
the dates for the workshop are from May 25th to June 5th, 2015. Final
deadline for applications is April 12th 2015.
