Re: Segmentation Faults on Mac OS X Lion

A new MacOSX-x86_64 binary is now available on the download site that has
been reported to work on Lion (Mac OS X 10.7) and should work on earlier
versions as well (but not as early as the x86 binaries did - that build
machine had an ancient OS). I had built x86_64 with the rest of the 2.8
binaries but didn't want to confuse people with 32-bit machines.

Thanks to Arvind for pointing this out and testing it for me.

The problem occurs regardless of the number of cores used in the run, and namd is the only process that segfaults on the new OS for me. Are there any known workarounds to this problem, or is the current version of namd simply incompatible with Lion?
