reassignFreq script

While having the problem of gradually bring the system to body
temperature, I came across

reassignFreq 500
for { set i 0 }{$i < 310 }{incr i 10 }{
reassignTemp $i
run 500
}

but found no answer to correct the script, which does not work. New to
namd and vmd, I have not yet found the time to learn the language,
which is first in my todo list. Much obliged for help.
