NAMD documentation regarding compiling

The NAMD on-line documentation suggests that if you want to build namd from
source you have to download FFTW, charmm etc... and links are provided for
this purpose. This is all true.

But if you just download the NAMD source and read the notes.txt
then the commands for using wget to accomplish all these downloads are
provided. These command COULD BE ROLLED INTO THE INSTALL SCRIPT :-)

In any case the commands given in notes.txt are a lot more efficient than
downloading via web links, moving files etc...

My suggestion:
at
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/namd/development.html
under
Other Stuff You'll Need
include a note before the bullets that says

NOTE: commands for downloading Charmm++, TCL, FFTW are provided in the
installation notes. URLs for the code are provided below.

just my $0.0001/2
