Hi to all,
I have written to Charm++ developers, and the problem has been solved. I report here the answer, that could give some help to people here.
"If your mpicc is already a wrapper of icc, you don't have to specify icc at the build command line, that will override the compiler and does not link mpich library automatically (and so you have those undefines).
Try just remove icc and ifort from your command line."
That is all. Thank you.
Greetings,
Andrea

Andrea,
I suggest emailing the charm++ developers at ppl_at_cs.uiuc.edu since your
problem appears to be exclusively a charm++ issue.
C.
