namdplot Unmatched " error

Dear All,

I downloaded the namdplot file, made it executable and tried to execute it
from the command line using ./namdplot. I get the following error:

Unmatched ".

I got the same error when I tried using namddat

Surely people have used this before. What can possibly be wrong? Is there
any documentation about the use of namdplot and/or namddat?
