they don't get sent through the mailing list processor.
this is what the gods of unix created procmail for:
:0
* ^FROM.*postmaster_at_maxygen.com
/dev/null
you'll also get a lot of vacation replies from people
who use a not so smart software that replies to mailing
list mails as well...
