Dear all ,
I am confused with the unit of "efield " . I read the document and found
the unit of " efield "
is kcal/(mol*A*e) .And how to translated it into the unit "V/m" ?
This is my opinion . And it right or wrong ?
thx ^^
wang

My opinion
________________________________________________________________________
A = 10^-10 meter
1 eV = 2.8588 * 10^-3 kcal/mol
==> kca/(mol*A*e) = 2.8588 * 10^-3 eV / (A*e)=2.8588*10^-3 V / 10^-10
=2.8588 *10^7 V/m
