NAMD on Dual processor computer

Hi all
       I am running NAMD (Version 2.6, Linux-i686) on a computer which has
dual processor. but NAMD is running on single processor only and it is not
using both processor. how can i make NAMD to use both the processor for
calculation? do i need to install NAMD for different platform then
Linux-i686?
