The Message Board provides a threaded discussion area. Discussions can be arranged by username or topic and can be sorted by date or alphabetical order, and users can limit discussions shown to the recent past. Because all of the messages in the Message Board are automatically saved, anyone in the project can view prior entries at any point in the future.
Later, Bob looks over the results of his completed job. He has a few questions on the results, but Ann has logged out. So he posts a message to the Message Board, which keeps a threaded list of messages, so that discussions can be conducted asynchronously.
When Ann logs in, she sees in the Control Panel and in the Summary Page that Bob has posted a new message to the Message Board. She takes a look at the problem and does some research to help figure it out. When she comes up with some information that might help, she replies to the message, telling Bob what should be done.
