Loading Passengers We got there early, so we didn't have to wait in line. Hooray!
A728 Aloha Deck, room 728. On the port aft side of the ship, fairly close to the exit.
Nameplate "Fincantieri / Cantieri Navili Italiani / Stabilimento Do Monfalcone / Costr. 5909 / Anno 1995". I assume it's when the ship was christened.
Another Ship A Royal Caribbean ship was loading behind us.
Clearing Out The loading was drying up, so soon we would depart!
Seattle and Parking Lot The background is a tad more attractive than the foreground, yes?
Beth She decided it'd be fun to take pictures of her self.
Beth, II This is more difficulty to do with an SLR than most cameras.
Muster Station C We were actually on our way to the muster station as I took this photo. The motion may tip you off to the fact that we were going the wrong way. *sigh*
At our Muster Station At least the thing was inside. And had guys in nice yellow hats. (Hi, Lee!)
More Commercial Docking Look, it's being unloaded!
Watching the Departure I think that taking pictures of people watching as we left was as much fun as actually leaving.
Norwegian Pearl Little did we know how many times we'd see this ship on our journeys...
Space Needle Not a bad picture, from a long distance.
Our Hotel The night before, we'd stayed at the Inn at the Market. It amused me to find it again. (It's on the right.)
Landing Airplane The Depth of Field made this shot interesting, at least.
Barges Dragging the stuff out to sea? I can't tell what it is, but it looks like dirt. Oh well, I should have taken more shots to find out.
Computer Lab $0.50 per minute. Whee.
Centerpiece of the Casino Whee, a casino! *sigh*
Painting/Sculpture This thing did fascinate me, but not tens-of-thousands-of-dollars worth.
Parallel Carving Three slicers, several creations.
Carved Fish I may have missed most of the veggie-carving event, but I did get to take pictures of the end result.
Pictures of Carved Fish Of course, I wasn't the only one taking pictures.
Carved Duck Let's see, that's a pineapple, lemon, radish, blueberry, carrot, melon of some sort, and probably a red pepper? (I like the small image in the other camera's "viewfinder".)
Carved Sheep Or they claimed it was a cauliflower sheep, anyway; I thought it looked more like a poodle.
Carved Monkey Monkeys make everything better. (Especially pirate movies.)
Carved Peacock This was, if nothing else, an interesting variety of foods. Squash with nothing but fruit...
Atrium Three levels of the ship, accessible from the central atrium. It was actually kindof pretty.
Reflective Roof It looked more real without the flash, if not really as good.
Boutiques You can see where they wanted us to spend money from here. Too bad Beth and I didn't want to.
Bottom Floor Well, fifth deck, anyway. Mostly there were pictures taken there, and disembarkations.
Ship Towers I like how they try to hide the functionality of the ship. Me, I'd rather see it.
Tim on Deck A bit too shadowy. Maybe I should try touching this up.
Tim on Deck, II Of course, if I try I'll probably end up with something too bright, like this.
Waiting in Line It's not worth waiting in line for dinner, but we did it sometimes anyway.
Smiley Beth *smile*
Computer Beth Okay, back to work with her! And by work, I mean web comics and LJ.
Above Decks I liked wandering outside occasionally, but it was warmer inside...
Landing Sea Plane They're neat to watch.
Bench It said "Sun Princess" on it, and I wasn't sure that I had anything else that said that yet. Oh well.
Ice Carving, III You can tell, because it was about twenty seconds from the last shot, and the ice was actually beginning to look like something.
Ice Carving, IV A minute or so after that, and you cal really see it forming into something.
Ice Carving, V Apparently this isn't a common skill nowadays. I wonder why?
Ice Carving Tools There weren't that many, which amused me too.
Ice Fish, Back I wish the light had been better for these photos.
Me, Reading I read the first 8 Dresden Files books on the trip. This was good for me. Beth read more than I did. We travel differently than most people...
''Just Married'' Balloons Since I signed up for this trip as our honeymoon, they made it special... by giving us balloons!
After the Balloons You can tell how special this made Beth feel.
