I would like to invite you to the October Dancing Illini Social Events. We
hope you can make it!
Here's the scoop...
***The Dancing Illini Autumn Dance***
When: Saturday, October 2
Where: Illini Rooms B and C in the Union
Cost: FREE!!!
Dancing: 8 to 11 PM
Music: Suitable for all kinds of dances, including Swing, Hustle, and
Salsa.
Dress: Come as you are
Free Lessons: 7 to 8 PM
Everyone is welcome! Even if you haven't had much dance experience, we'd
really like to meet you! Don't worry about finding a date - this dance is
strictly stag. (Of course, bringing a partner isn't a bad thing either.)
Come on out and dance with us!
***The Dancing Illini Ice Skating Party***
When: Saturday, October 9
Time: 1:30 to 4 PM
Where: U of I Ice Arena
Student Cost: Free admission and $1 skate rental for U of I students
Non-student Cost: Admission and skates will be under $5
(The exact price depends on the number of participants.)
We will provide sodas. Bring a snack to share, if you wish.
Please RSVP by October 6. Sign up at DI dance class, practice, or at the

***** Dancing Illini Costume Dinner Dance *****
When: Friday, October 29
Where: Dinner at Yen Ching on Cunningham in Urbana, followed by dancing at
the Regent
Dress: Wear your Halloween costume!
Dinner: 6 PM
Dancing: 8 to 11 PM
Come and have dinner with your DI friends and meet some new ones.
You are responsible for the cost of your own dinner, and we'll treat you
to FREE ADMISSION to the Regent.
