Dear Dancers:
As we approach the summer, I will begin work on our newsletter/dance
calendar. In order to make this project a success, I will need your input.
Any suggestions will be most appreciated. This is your chance to be creative
and have influence.
I have already been given the idea to put in a memorable quote list section
of things members have said, as I understand we had last time there was a
newsletter in circulation. If there are any amusing quotes you think would be
of interest, please send them to me, along with the speaker's first & last
name (or "anonymous" if the person wishes to remain unknown) plus the quote.
These quotes can be taken completely out of context. In fact, they are
usually better that way.
Also, I thought up the idea of having a section for dancers to advertise any
shoes, costumes, dance Cds, or other dance items they wish to sell. If you
wish to have an ad, send me all the details (description of the item, number
to call, etc.), and I'll make sure it gets into the newsletter.
A section talking about upcoming dances, competitions, and other dance events
will be included, and perhaps even photos of our dancers will show up in the
newsletter.
These are just a few ideas, and I certainly could use more. Also, if anyone
wishes to assist in this project, you are welcome.
