What: Soup for our Supper Party---a few of our DI chef's will
prepare an interesting and diverse array of soups.
When: 7:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27th
Where: 306 W. John, Champaign (352-7837)
Thanks Ruth Ann for the use of your home.
Why: Because you need some non-dance events to get to know those
folks you've been stepping on for weeks now. Our volunteer chefs will provide
the soup, the club will provide apple juice, lemonade, and punch, and I'll
bake some brownies. So all you need to do is bring a side, some bread, or a
dessert to share, and a friend to share it with. If you don't any of that
stuff please come anyhow, there will be plenty of everything to go around.
Tentative Schedule of event's
7:00 Soups on, Come and get it while it's hot---we'll sit, and talk, and eat
and basically have all the fun you can have without dancing.
8:45 Pick a card, win a Door Prize---It's fun, and it's free.
9:00 Movie in the back room---"Dance With Me", or "Shall We Dance"
if we can get it, alternatively we'll do the Strictly Ballroom thing.
11:00 ???? We'll figure that out later. Maybe we'll push back the funiture
and
dance. You never know what's going to happen at those wild dance
parties.
