The Dancing Illini "Welcome Back" Dance!

Time: 1:30-4:30 pm
Place: Illini Union Ballroom (on the second floor)
Cost: Absolutely free!!
We'll play ballroom, Latin, and nightclub music including swing, waltz,
cha-cha, hustle, salsa, rumba, and tango!
** There will be a quickie lesson on Waltz and Swing from 1:30-2 pm taught
by Andrew Tate and Michelle Guthrie, TOP AMATEUR DANCERS. Andrew and
Michelle placed first in the Pre-Champ Latin category at the 1998
National Ballroom Dance Competition! DON'T MISS this opportunity to
learn from the best!
AND, as if that weren't enough...
We'll stop the music at 3 pm for demonstrations by Andrew and Michelle, as
well as Dima and Sheila Lebedenko, TOP COLLEGIATE COMPETATIVE DANCERS!
We hope you can join us! Dancers of any skill level, including beginners,
are welcome!
