We'd like to invite all Dancing Illini members to a dinner and
costume dance party!
The party will begin at 6 pm on Friday, October 30th at the
Nitaya Thai Restaurant. Dinner will be buffet style, and
will include one vegetarian selection. After dinner, we'd love to
have you join us at the Regent ballroom for their Halloween
costume party, from 8-11pm. You pay for dinner, and the
Dancing Illini will pick up the tab for Regent admission, so why
not come? You'll have a great time!
For those of you who have never been to a DI dinner dance party,
we hold it once every semester. It is a good chance to
get to know other members of the club better, both around the
dinner table and dance floor. This time we planned our gathering
to coincide with Regent's costume party so we can have some wild
fun! You are encouraged to go in costume to the restaurant too.
Please spread the word if you know other members who would like
to come. We need to tally the number of people who'd like to come
soon. The restaurant need to know this to prepare for our party.
So please respond no later than Wednesday, October 28th to Lu at
l-fang1@uiuc.edu. Include your telephone number and email
address, and indicate if you need a ride or are willing to give
others a ride. The 9B Brown bus line runs from campus to a block
away from Nitaya. Please also let us know if you prefer
vegetarian food so the restaurant can prepare appropriate
appetizer, salad and soup for you.
Direction to Nitaya Tai Restaurant: It is located at 134 W.
Church in downtown Champaign, at the corner of Church and
Randolph.
