We will be holding our final business meetings of the summer this week.
There will be an officer meeting at 5pm on Sunday, August 2 in the Beckman
Institute atrium by the east entrance. The first half hour of officer
meetings are open to any member with an issue to bring up. If you would
like to be an officer, we have openings for the competition, teaching,
public relations, and social chair positions. In addition to the pride of
helping run a sizable student organization, officers attend classes and
events free of charge. Please consider becoming an officer this fall.
The August general meeting will take place at 9pm on Wednesday, August 5
during practice at the Krannert Center opera rehearsal room. This will be
a short meeting, and a great opportunity to bring up any issues related to
classes and events during the coming semester. If you want to be an
officer (see the list of open chairperson positions above) this is the
time to nominate yourself. Pizza will also be involved somehow. ;-)
