Dear DI competitors,
Here are a few last-minute details you should be aware of:
1. REGISTRATION: Registration will close tonight on o2cm.com at 8pmCT. You
will still be able to add/drop events and manage TBA registrations at the
welcome dance Friday night or at the competition Saturday.
2. WELCOME DANCE: There will be a welcome dance with music provided by DJ
Kevin Guy in the 2nd Floor Ballroom of the Illini Union on Friday night,
10/18, 7-11pm. Packet pick-up will be available at the welcome dance only
for those competitors that have already paid and we've received payment
for.
3. PARKING: Many campus lots are free on Friday night and weekends. Please

This will be a game weekend so remember to give yourself extra time to find
parking.
4. PACKET PICKUP: We will have packet pickup available starting at 8am on
Saturday outside the Illini Rooms in the Illini Union. Competitors that did
not pick up their packets at the welcome dance or have not paid will be
able to do so at this time.
5. ON DECK: While on deck, please line up IN NUMERICAL ORDER to make it
easier to be checked in. Competitors will be reminded of this throughout
the day.
6. FUN DANCES AND PERFORMANCE: In the evening, we will have fun dances
which include salsa, merengue, polka, 3-person swing, reverse-lead tango
and, of course, the same-sex rumba. We will also have a special performance
featuring Alex Tecza and Katja Lindholm.
