Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,
This is your last chance to join Dancing Illini's new *11-week* beginner courses: Intro to Social Dancing and Swing Trio (details below).
Everything from the first week will be reviewed, you don't need a partner, and these semester-long courses are still a great deal so come to the University YMCA on Sunday, September 15 and give it a try!
Courses:
Beginner Social Dancing (Two-Step, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Swing, Waltz)
Sundays, 5:30-7:00pm, 11 weeks, Sept 8-Nov 17 at University YMCA
taught by Ron and Jennifer, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Swing Trio (Single, Triple, and West Coast Swing)
Sundays, 7:30-9:00pm, 11 weeks, Sept 8-Nov 17 at University YMCA
taught by Jeff and Jennifer, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Courses meet at the University YMCA's Latzer Hall (first floor), at Wright and Chalmers in Champaign, just west of Lincoln Hall.
Repeat students are welcome in all courses.
Pricing:
There is no need to pre-register. No partner or special shoes needed. Your $45 membership (or $50 registration if non-UIUC) entitles you to one *11-week* course. Returning members $35. Second course in the same semester is $20. Prices are per person; there is no couples discount. Please be prepared to pay (cash or check only, no credit cards) at the start of the first class (Sept. 8). If you must miss the first class for some reason you can still join in week two.

Where We Dance:
The Regent Ballroom has dancing most Fridays, 8-11pm, $9. The music covers everything we teach and more, so join your DI friends at the table by the DJ.

Annual Competition and Workshops October 19-20:
Our 25th annual intercollegiate ballroom dance competition will be held on Saturday, October 19 with workshops on Sunday, October 20. Free for UIUC students (thanks to SORF support) as spectators or competitors (we have special events just for beginning dancers).
