Hello Everyone!
Our annual ballroom, latin, and nightclub dance competition is this
Saturday, October 31, 8am-11pm in the Illini Union, Illini Rooms ABC.
Standard dances start at 9am, Latin at 1pm, and Nightclub at 7:30pm.
Cost: FREE for UIUC students (funded by SORF), other spectators $5
Our guest judges this year will be Christopher Martin and Ryan Evans.
Ryan and his partner Maliwan Diemer will perform during the Saturday
evening competition and teach three workshops on Sunday, November 1:
10:00am - Sizzin' Silver Jive
11:15am - All-Level Latin Technique
12:30pm - Intro to Paso Doble
Chris will teach a parallel track of three workshops on Sunday:
10:00am - Intro to Viennese Waltz
11:15am - Beginner Foxtrot
12:30pm - Kick West Coat Swing Up a Notch
Workshops are FREE for UIUC students, others $10 for 1, $20 for 3.
The workshops will also be held in the Illini Union, Illini Rooms ABC.
