21st Annual Dancing Illini DanceSport Invitational
An Intercollegiate Dance Competition
Saturday, October 31, 2009, 8am-11pm
1401 W. Green St., Urbana, IL 61801,
Illini Union Rooms A, B and C
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Our guest judges this year will be Christopher Martin and Ryan Evans.
Ryan and his partner Maliwan Diemer will perform during the Saturday
evening competition and teach three workshops on Sunday. Chris will
teach a parallel track of three workshops on Sunday.
Admission to workshops is free for competitors.
Cost: $30 for student competitors, $40 for non-student competitors,
$5 general spectators, free for UIUC student competitors and spectators
(UIUC student participation is funded by SORF)

Online registration is open until October 19, 2009.
All fees must be postmarked on or before that date or a late fee will
be charged at the door.
Hotel Alert:
While there are hotel rooms available in Champaign-Urbana, they are very
expensive because it is a game weekend. (Rooms average between $150 and
$250 a night per room in town). Therefore, we recommend you book lodgings
in Decatur/Forsyth where rooms are significantly less expensive. The
following are located right off of the highway and easily accessible:
Wingate Inn: 217-875-5500
Baymont Inn: 217-875-5800
Fairfield Inn: 217-875-3337
Door to door from any of these hotels the drive to the Union should take
at most 50 minutes. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
