Dancing Illini Courses Start Wednesday and Thursday!

Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,

This summer the Dancing Illini is offering its two most popular beginner
courses, Swing/Waltz and Salsa/Cha-Cha. For those with some dance
experience, we have Accelerated Waltz/Tango and Accelerated Rumba/Samba.
Repeat students are welcome in all courses.

You don't need a partner and classes are FREE the first week,
so come to 314 Illini Union July 1 & 2 and give it a try!

Please note: CLASSES MOVE TO KRANNERT CENTER STARTING JULY 15 & 16

Courses:

  Beginner Swing & Waltz
  Wednesdays, 6:15-7:30pm, six weeks starting July 1
  taught by Ron & May/Amanda, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  Beginner Salsa & Cha-Cha
  Wednesdays, 8:00-9:15pm, six weeks starting July 1
  taught by Tanja & Jim, NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  Accelerated Waltz & Tango
  Thursdays, 6:15-7:30pm, six weeks starting July 2
  taught by Feida & Wei, partnered dance experience recommended

  Accelerated Rumba & Samba
  Thursdays, 8:00-9:15pm, six weeks starting July 2
  taught by Wei & Yan, partnered dance experience recommended

  Courses will meet in the Illini Union room 314 on July 1, 2, 8, & 9.
  Starting July 15 & 16 courses will meet in the Krannert Center Opera
  Rehearsal room (go down to level two and follow the signs).

Pricing:

  There is no need to pre-register. Try classes FREE the first week.
  Your $30 membership (or $35 registration if non-UIUC) entitles you to
  one 6-week course. Prices are per person; there is no couples discount.
  Please be prepared to pay by the start of the second class.

  EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL: SAVE $5 if you pay the first week!

  SUMMER SPECIAL: Take a second course FREE if space is available.

  Want to get all your Dancing Illini classes for free? Volunteer some
  of your time and enthusiasm as an officer! If you are interested
  please email dancing at illinois dot edu and we'll find you a job.

Where We Dance:

  The Regent Ballroom has ballroom dancing most Fridays, 8-11pm, $8.
  The music covers every dance we teach, so join your DI friends at the
