Hello dancers, friends and family. You are invited! Please come to a DANCING ILLINI MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND PARTY AT LISA AND TONY’S
When: Saturday, May 23, 2008, from 4pm until 9pm Arrive as late as you like, but the grill may be cold.
Why: Summer is here. You like food. We like you; it’s just that simple.
Sponsored by the Dancing Illini—all members, friends, and family are welcome.
What: There will be some lawn chairs, but please bring your own seating if possible. The grill will be ready to cook at around 5pm. Dancing Illini will provide beef, turkey, and Boca burgers; brats, and some non-alcoholic beverages.
Contributions of beverages, appetizers, salads, or deserts are welcome. But if you don’t have any of that, please come anyhow, we’ve always got plenty to eat.
Lisa and Tony will make sure the floor in the pole barn is clear of most obstacles. We’ll build a big fire because they are fun and interesting.
Where: 2468 County Road 900E, Champaign.
Directions:
Take Mattis Avenue north out of Champaign. (Mattis Avenue is on the west side of town, you may actually want to look at a map.) You will come to Olympian Drive where there is a Dairy Queen and a gas station. Continue driving north. You will eventually come to an S curve in the road where the speed limit drops to 40. Follow the S curve. The house is the first one on the right after the road straightens out. It’s tan with a blue roof. They have several outbuildings. Tony will park his big white work truck near the end of the driveway.
If you get to route 136, you have gone way too far.
