The deadline for advanced registration is this Monday, October 15. That
is also the deadline for mailing your fees (except for UIUC students,
who participate free thanks to funding from SORF). If you do not register
and send payment by Monday you will have to pay your complete fee plus a
late fee at the door. Complete information is available via the

This year Robertas Maleckis and Inga Sirkaite are two of our judges.

Latin Workshops (10/21/07) provided by Robertas and Inga;
Standard Workshops (10/21/07) provided by Loretta Spencer.
Admission to workshops is free for competitors.
Cost: $30 for student competitors, $40 for non-student competitors,
$5 general spectators, free for UIUC student competitors and spectators
(UIUC student participation is funded by SORF)

Hotel Alert:
I'm sorry to report that all of the hotels in Champaign and the immediate
neighboring communities are probably booked solid because of the game and
alumni activities. In response to this we offer the suggestion of staying
at the Wingate Inn in Decatur, Illinois---about 40 minutes west of
Champaign. This hotel is right off of the highway and is easily
accessible. Hotel information is as follows:

Also, I've listed two additional hotels in Decatur/Forsyth Illinois, also
located right off of the highway and easily accessible.

Door to door from any of these hotels the drive to the Union should take
at most 50 minutes. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
