    Hi All,
Loretta wanted to make sure you all got this.

Cha Cha Routine from 7/11 Workshop with Loretta Spencer:
    • Basic
    • 2 Crossover
    • Spot Turn
    • Lady’s Underarm Turn
    • 3 Cha Chas
    • 1 Crossover
    • 3 Cha Chas
    • Spot Turn

    Points to Remember:

•Stand up straight with tone, not tension

•Keep head naturally up (not tilted back and not down toward the floor)

•Keep the rhythm in mind when taking steps (counts 4, and are only ½ beats and should be smaller than whole beats)

•Steps are taken first onto the ball of the foot, then flat. No heel leads

•Face your partner on the counts 4, and

•Keep free arm up naturally to the side, slightly in front of your back, and slightly lower than your shoulder

•Keep connected hands relaxed, but toned

•Gentlemen: lead by moving your body weight into a new position, not just your arm

•Ladies: pay attention to what your partner is doing, try not to anticipate
    •Practice, practice, practice

    •Have fun with it
