Dancing Illini Competition is Saturday!

Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,

In addition to courses starting this week, our annual intercollegiate
ballroom, latin, and nightclub dance competition is Saturday, October 14,
at the Illini Union in Illini Rooms ABC from 8am until 11pm. Over 150
students from schools across the midwest will compete all day long:

  9:00 am - Standard: Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango
  1:00 pm - Latin: Rumba, Cha Cha, Jive, Samba
  7:30 pm - Nightclub: Salsa/Mambo, Merengue, East Coast Swing,
                        Hustle, Nightclub 2-step, and West Coast Swing

  9:00 pm - Professional Latin Demo by Robertas & Inga

UIUC students spectate free, others $5 for a full-day pass. The room
will be locked during lunch and dinner breaks around noon and 6pm.
