Hello!
My name is Evgeni Peryshkin and on behalf of Ritmo Y Sabor
Latino (Latin Rhythm and Flavor), I would like to invite you
and your organization to participate in the FREE Salsa
Contest/Open Dance to a Live Band. I noticed that this is an
event in which your organization may be interested in. If you
feel like this is relevant to your organization please forward
this to your members.
The University does not hold many Latin dance events even
though it is a large portion of the Latin Culture. This event
will be a good way to keep Latin culture in the University~@~Ys
spotlight, and to boot, Latin dancing is a great experience.
The event is going to consist of a beginner~@~Ys dance lesson
from 8:00pm - 9:00pm. At 11pm we will have the salsa contest.
Prizes will be given including trophies sponsored by La Casa
Cultural Latina. During the rest of the time, we will have
dancing to the live band.
Date: Saturday, March 5, 2005
Time: 8:00pm ~@~S 1:30am
Where: Illini Union Rooms ABC
Attire: Casual
Cost: FREE!!!
