Hi everyone,
I want to invite you to a special event this Wednesday December 1st from
7:30pm at the Courtyard Café in the Illini Union.
The Ecuadorian Students Association works in a project called "Proyecto
Pro-Niño" where we raise money to help poor and abused little girls who
live in a special home finish their elementary school and high school
education. Each girl needs around $200 a year in order to be able to
continue their schooling. This amount covers things like school
supplies, school fees, clothes, etc. For more information, you can

All the money that is raise in this salsa event will go to this project.
Admission is $3 and what we have planned for Wednesday is the following:
* 7:30pm - 9pm : Introduction to "Rueda" Workshop (basic salsa knowledge
is required. However, we'll also offer basic salsa lessons. We'll have
many people ready to help in both things...
* 9pm - until Union closes (around 11:30pm or midnight) : Open latin
dance! I will be in charge of the music, so we'll have salsa, bachata,
merengue, vallenato, regueaton, etc.
* Midnight - 2am : Salsa @ Cowboy Monkey!!!
So I hope you can please come to this special event and help make a
difference in the education of these Ecuadorian girls.
