Dear Dancers and Future Dancers,
The Dancing Illini is kicking off the year with three beginner courses:
Waltz/Swing, Salsa/Merengue/Bachata, and Nightclub 2-Step/Hustle. For
those with experience, we have intermediate Cha-Cha/Samba and Salsa.
You don't need a partner and all classes are FREE the first week, so
come to the McKinley Foundation Aug 31 - Sept 2 and give it a try!
The Details:
Where: Basement of McKinley Foundation (5th & John, SW corner)
When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
How long: 6 weeks
Beginning: Tue Aug 31, Wed Sept 1, and Thu Sept 2
Ending: Tue Oct 5, Wed Oct 6, and Thu Oct 7
Courses:
Intermediate Cha-Cha & Samba
Tuesdays 9:30-10:45pm
taught by Adrian and Holly Hutber, Cha-Cha experience required
Beginner Waltz & Swing
Wednesdays 9:00-10:15pm
taught by Hilary Frooman and Mike Lockwood, *no experience required*
Intermediate Salsa
Thursdays 6:30-7:45pm
taught by Erika Ryser, Salsa experience required
Beginner Salsa, Merengue, & Bachata
Thursdays 8:00-9:15pm
taught by Erika Ryser, *no experience required*
Beginner Nightclub 2-step & Hustle
Thursdays 9:30-10:45pm
taught by Regina Pareigis, *no experience required*
Pricing:
There is no need to pre-register. You may try a class for FREE during
the first week. Your $30 membership (or $35 registration if non-UIUC)
entitles you to one course. Additional courses in the same semester
are $20. Prices are per person; there is no couples discount. Please
be prepared to pay by the start of the second class.
EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL: Save $5 on membership if you pay the first week!
