Nightclub Dancing Workshops on April 10th

Hi All,

       Make sure you save some time on the Evening of April 10 because after a day of Rueda we'll have the opportunity to learn some swanky moves in Hustle and West Coast Swing with Chris Martin.  There is a charge for these workshops, but Dancing Illini Members get a discount. No need to preregister but if you'd like to register at the door please show up 10 minutes before the workshop is scheduled to start.

HUSTLE & West Coast Swing Workshops
Saturday, April 10, 2004
Location: McKinley Foundation Church Basement
(corner of 5th & John St., enter on 5th close to John)
 
Hustle Workshop:   7:00-8:00 PM
West Coast Swing Workshop:  8:30 – 9:30 pm
Practice:  9:30 – 10:30
Dance!:  Club Lava, 11:00 pm – 2:00 am
            (Bris will play Salsa & 110-120 BPM music for WCS & Hustle)
 
Instructor:  Chris Martin-a highly experienced New York dance teacher.
Chris began teaching ballroom dancing in 1987 and has worked for both major chain studios, two highly acclaimed and respected studios in London, and was coach and instructor of the University of Maryland's ballroom dance program for two years. He has a background in musical theater, with a degree from Catholic University, and is a member of Actors Equity.  Chris will review the basic! s and teach a new exciting pattern for each dance.
 
Cost:  Hustle:  $10 for general public or $7 for Dancing Illini Members
            West Coast Swing:  $5 for general public or $3 for Dancing Illini Members.
            Both workshops:  $15 public or $10 for Dancing Illini Members
