       Just a little reminder, the Soup Party is this weekend----details below.  It's free and fun and I sincerely hope that you will join us.  The homemade soups of the day will be:

White Bean Chilli

Amy's Vegatable Surprise(vegetarian)

Spicy Corn Chowder  (vegetarian)

Cocoa Black Bean soup (Vegan)

and either Chicken with Rice, or Beef and Noodles  (if you've got a preference,  let me know, you could tip the balance.)

It’s time for the DI Annual Soup Party

 

When:  Saturday, March 13   (after the weekly dance at Lava)

      7:30 pm til ?

Where: RuthAnn and Tanja's house

      712 Foley Ave, Champaign 61820

Directions:

From campus: take Green to State, turn Left on State and in 1 block go Right on John St. 

About 4 blocks down on the Left is Foley Ave.  If you reach the school go back 1.5 blocks. 

From Lava:  Take Bradley to Prospect, turn Right on Prospect, take Prospect South and then turn Left on John---which is 1 block after the light at Green.  Go about 3 blocks East on John.  Foley comes in as a “T” and is on the Right side about 1.5 blocks after the school.

712 Foley Ave, is on the Left and is a beige 2 story house with hunter green trim and the big spring wreath on the door. 

The phone number there is 352-7837, so call if there is a problem.

 For certain there will be homemade soups, hearty breads, and a variety of fruit juices and lemonade.   If you’d like to contribute something to the occasion, you can bring a good loaf of bread, a dessert, some soda pop, a tray of veggies, or appetizers---we aren’t picky.    If you don’t cook at all or can’t make it to the store, please feel free to come anyway.   And bring a friend, the more the merrier.  There is always PLENTY of food.
