Hi,
Don't forget that Bruce Leasure will be teaching the basics of
Viennese Waltz tonight from 9:30-10:30 pm at the Regent Ballroom.
This is a rare opportunity because viennese waltz is not regularly
taught by the Dancing Illini. However, experience with standard
dances (preferably waltz) is HIGHLY recommended.
This workshop is being held during our normal practice time (the
room will be divided, one half for viennese, one half for normal
practice) and you will have about 20 minutes afterwards to practice
your new steps.
This event is FREE for Dancing Illini members and registered
participants. No pre-registration is required.
The viennese waltz is a fast moving, dynamic dance with plenty of
turning. For those who wish to see it, some video clips of various
