We have just arranged for Bruce to give the free dance lesson at the
beginning of tonight's practice (9:30, regent ballroom). He will be
teaching the american foxtrot magic rhythm. After twenty minutes of this
simple yet versatile step you'll be able to navigate the floor to
frank, louie, ella and all your other four count favorites.

for more info on foxtrot see:

or see jeremy and partner do an advanced american foxtrot at last month's
ohio state comp:

Bruce Leasure was a founding member of the dancing illini many years
ago (if we ask nicely in class, maybe he'll tell us the magic number).
After plenty of practice, he and his partner Hilary Frooman are
championship level competitors, experienced amateur instructors, not to
mention judges at our own Dancing Illini Invitational each october.

To convince more people to experience the best of the
dancing illini, we will be giving out coupons for Ten Dollars Off any
Bruce and Hilary class to anyone who shows up tonight. Anyone who's taken
a beginner ballroom class from the DI should definitly consider "Standard
Technique" and "Foxtrot/Quickstep" in the fall.

Thanks for reading, yo.
See you tonight.
