To all Dancing Illini,
On Thursday, November 15th at 8:00 p.m. in the Freer Hall - Room 310 - 3rd
Floor (same location as classes & practice) we will have our Dancing
Illini General meeting.
Tentative agenda for the general meeting is:
(1) Election of new officers/chairpersons
We expect to have few positions open. Nominations will begin when the
position(s) become open.
(2) Purchase of new equipment
We are looking to buy new portable sound system. Currently we are thinking
to buy either Fender Passport P-150 or P-250. Comments are welcome. We
will also consider other models if proposed two days before the
General meeting. More info at:

(3) Social topics: format for our dances and non-dance social
We want your input: which format for our dances suits you best and what
would you like to have for non-dance social: ice skating, deserts party
or something else.
(4) Budget discussion
Budget will be discussed and voted on.
(5) Miscellaneous
We want to hear your inputs and comments on topics not covered previously.
The practice will resume after the General meeting is over.
