"EVERYBODY DANCE NOW"
-- sponsored by the Dancing Illini, this Saturday, Nov 18 --
ADMISSION IS FREE
The mix at this dance will be equal 25% portions of: (1) swings; (2)
salsas; (3) other Latin dances (cha chas, merengues, sambas, etc.);
and (4) other nightclub dances (hustles, 2-steps,
etc.). The sound system will be great and the music exciting.
Dancing Illini ballroom dancers will be best equipped to dance to all
the varieties of music that will be played, but we are hoping that
salsa and swing dancers will also come and dance with us. Hopefully,
intermingling with and occasionally watching dancers from salsa and
swing backgrounds doing their thing won't be all that bad, maybe?
Perhaps even fun?
Where: ILLINI UNION BALLROOM.
