Dear Dancing Illini:
We will be having yet another FREE dance THIS SATURDAY at the Illini
Union, Room 314. Dancing begins at 8 pm and lasts until 11 pm. This week,
the program will consist of a Nightclub/Latin mix, but a few standard
songs can be inserted if there is demand. Everyone is welcome!
So, why should you join us? Because it's a great opportunity to show off
your flashy moves and practice for two fabulous upcoming COMPETITIONS -
the DI Invitational in October and Ohio Star Ball in November! Check our

Additional DI Business. . .
*This Thursday, we are having a GENERAL MEETING from about 8:30-8:45pm
(after the beginner class). This will take place at Freer - in the same
room as the DI classes. There will be FREE PIZZA!
*As some of you already know, the DI is short a few officers. The
positions of teaching chair, worshop chair, and social chair are open. We
especially need a social chair. The positions are fun, a great way to
acquire experience, and come with many BENEFITS! If you want more
information on any of these positions, simply e-mail the officer list,
speak to an officer or your dance instructor, or check the website. Also,
because there is an general meeting this week, you can express your
interest there.
*The DI VIDEO LIBRARY, mananged by Doug West, is open every Tuesday from
8:30 to 8:45 pm.
