Dear friends,

Kids and Teens swing classes are starting tomorrow night at 7pm! If you
are not between 10 to 19 years old, you must receive permission from me
to enroll. Here's the info:

4th through 12th Grade SWING DANCE CLASSES!

All classes are on Tuesdays and start on July 20, 1999

Beginner Swing: (4th through 12th grades)
7pm to 8pm
No experience required. The class will focus on leading and following,
turns, and combination moves, in the style of dance of the Swing Era.

Intermediate Swing: (4th through 12th grades)
8pm to 9pm
Pre-requisite: Beginning Swing (I) or equivalent. More moves will be
introduced. Rhythm, style, and tempo will be discussed and incorporated
into the class, as well as the Lindy Hop, the original 8-count dance
from which Swing evolved. The Lindy Hop was created in the late 20’s at
the Savoy Ballroom in Harlem and was named after Charles Lindbergh, who
made the historic “hop” across the Atlantic.

Cost & Registration: $20 for entire 4 week course (four-1 hour
sessions). July 20, July 27, August 3, and August 10. There is no
registration deadline, so you can just show up on July 20. Try to come
early the first week, as classes may fill up. For questions regarding
